Due primarily to the poor economy and discouraging social environment, many locals from a sensitive field in North Africa long to leave their country. Many competent students and white-collar laborers are finding ways to do so. Pray that those who go abroad would find Truth far more valuable than economic gain and that those who stay would encounter the Prince of Peace, the Redeemer of the harshest circumstances, and Conqueror of their greatest fears.
Back in Namposa village, a team of Lao national missionaries went to see six Nughoe people who had recently believed. They reviewed the Gospel together and taught them how to pray. While visiting the new believers, several unbelievers also were told the Gospel story from creation to Jesus, and they also believed! Praise God for preparing the Nughoe to hear and receive the Good News. Pray for the Gospel seed to grow in good soil and multiply.
Join workers in praying for Gospel breakthrough for the Khmer in Cambodia. Ask God to open the eyes of Khmer who are blinded by false religion. Pray that God will free those who are held captive by false religion and that He will release those who sit in false religion’s dark dungeon.
Pray for Andy Roe (Japan) as his chapel responsibilities have doubled at the school for which he works. He is more involved in middle and high school this year and in charge of all six chapel services. Pray for Andy’s wife Megan as she leads the school as superintendent. This is a vital role in fulfilling the vision of the school in equipping students to walk with Jesus and impact the world for Him. Ask for wisdom for Megan as she works through difficult issues.
