In an island region of Southeast Asia, a team of medical workers has built strong relationships with many people from unreached people groups. These groups make up about half of the island’s population, and more live on nearby islands.
The biggest need is for workers to follow up on these relationships. The medical team cares deeply about sharing the Good News, but their medical work leaves them little time for it.
Follow-up workers would train local believers and team members in Disciple-Making Movement (DMM) principles. There are also small evangelical groups in the area that are open to being trained.
The team regularly travels into villages, which is one of the best ways to reach many people quickly. Evangelists and follow-up workers can join these trips. The team also has a strong support base and is eager to see the Gospel spread.
