I (Peter) have been in Asia since 2007. I have been in this part of Southeast Asia serving the Tai Dam since 2013. My wife, Hương (Rachel) has spent her whole life here in Southeast Asia. Our son Isaac was born in 2018. Our daughter, Sophia was born in 2023.
Our team’s vision: We desire to see multiplying Tai Dam disciples and churches obeying Jesus and telling the Good News to every Tai Dam family.
We work on a team of three people that is focused on utilizing media and in person communication to share the Gospel, helping the Tai Dam become aware that Jesus is the LORD. We share the Gospel with Tai Dam who have not heard, leading Tai Dam to abandon the worship and service of demons in order worship and serve Jesus. We establish groups of Tai Dam meeting to follow Jesus together, we host Tai Dam in our homes so that they can experience God’s love with us. We go to Tai Dam villages and homes so that they can experience God’s love among their people. We develop leaders, and we not only help Tai Dam to know the truth but we model for them how to put God’s truth into practice. This modeling and helping disciples imitating and practicing is an important technique Jesus and Paul both employed before us.
- John 10:27 – My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
- John 12:26 – Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.
- I Corinthians 4:19 – Therefore I urge you to imitate me.
- I Thessalonians 1:7 – And so you became a model to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.
- II Thessalonians 3:9 – We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate.
- Philippians 3:17 – Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.
- Philippians 4:9 – Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
