Hello, I’m Skylar! Despite being one of the most developed countries in the world, the country of Japan is only 1% Christian. The Lord has given me a strong desire and calling to share the Gospel of Jesus with these wonderful people so that they might know Him. I plan to work with a team that is already in Ishinomaki, Japan, making disciples of Jesus by loving the community around them and starting churches. I will be doing a Quest apprenticeship for 2 years through Team Expansion, and God willing, this will be just the beginning of my ministry!
Team Expansion has been sending missionaries for over 45 years. Today over 350 workers serve in over 50 fields. I have been so blessed to have this opportunity to join their team as they continue to seek to multiply disciples and churches among the unreached.
