The brothers and sisters there had heard that we were coming, and they traveled as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns to meet us. Acts 28:15
Paul met the disciples from Rome in a market on the “queen of the roads“, the Appian Way. This road today still crosses Italy from Rome to the southern city of Brindisi, and still today there are efforts to proclaim the gospel message in the towns and cities along this road. However, the evangelical and protestant believers are less than 2% of the entire Italian population. This is why the Gentiles feel the God given call to minister and make disciples in this corner of the world.
The Gentiles live and minister on a section of the Appian Way that runs through the cities of the “Castelli Romani” area. They are seeking people of peace, people open to the Gospel message, who will become in turn disciples of Christ and disciple-makers themselves. In so doing they hope and pray to become catalysts of a Disciple Making Movement that, our Lord willing, will spread southward on this historic road, and beyond!
Join us and partner with us in this God given endeavor.
