Elizabeth and I served as missionaries in Cambodia from 2012 to 2020, when COVID-19 happened and we relocated to Missouri. We have four children ages nine to sixteen years old, and we’ve been married since 2000.
In Cambodia, I had the honor of provided marriage coaching, pre-marital prep, debriefing, transition and grief coaching, etc. My clients were cross-cultural Christian workers, NGO folks, Cambodians, diplomats, and basically people. Some were believers and some weren’t. Additionally, Elizabeth and I helped lead an international church with folks from about 30 countries.
My goal is to gently walk with people, whatever their nationality and background, towards Jesus and the healing and freedom he gives. I do that primarily through providing pastoral care, debriefing, training, and coaching, as part of Team Expansion’s member care department and www.seeingtheheartsofthehurting.com.
Elizabeth serves as the editor-in-chief for A Life Overseas, a large website for international workers, with thousands of readers every week. (www.alifeoverseas.com)
