Team Expansion General Request

On this Good Friday, read John 18:1-40; 19:1-42; Isaiah 52:13-15; 53:1-12; Hebrews 10:16-25, and Psalms 22. Then pray with the author of this prayer, Rachel Marie Stone:

Lord God, Jesus cried out to You on the cross, “Why have you forsaken me?” You seemed so far from His cry and from His distress. Those who stood at the foot of the cross wondered where You were, as they saw Jesus mocked, shamed, and killed. Where were You then?

Lord God, we, too, ask where You are, when there is trouble and suffering and death, and we cry out to You for help. Be near to us and save us so that we may praise You for Your deliverance.

Lord God, we wait on Friday for the resurrection of Sunday. Sometimes our lives seem a succession of Fridays, and we cannot see what is “good.” Teach us to call on Your Name as Jesus did. Make us to trust You like little children.

Team Expansion Worker

Join Joshua and Abigail Meadows in praying that Japan would open to foreign travelers this spring! Please pray for the fruitful ministry happening with kids through Bridges. Pray for those who are starting their journeys as students of Jesus: Marley, Peyton, Jailen, A’Mondre, Katrell, Bennett, Lucas, and more to come. Ask God to send the Meadows support and prayer partners. Lead them to individuals who have a heart for the unreached. Please continually pray that God would soften the hearts of Japanese people to hearing the good news about Jesus. Lord, please fill Joshua and Abigail with Your Spirit so that they can align themselves with Your will.

Pray for More Workers

Lord God, we ask You to thrust out Your followers to tell Your message of the cross and share how to become a part of Your family.
