Listen to this podcast, “God on the Move,” about the Russian Orthodox Church and the British and Foreign Bible Society working together in the Chuvash Republic collaboratively to help the Turkic community have the Bible in their living language. Then pray for those who are translating the Word of God into Bibleless languages.

Please pray for these requests with A and R in a sensitive field in Africa:
- Pray for “Yusef” as he grieves the passing of his father. Yusef’s father left shortly after Yusef was born, but he returned home last year after being away for over twenty years. Yusef shared his faith with his father and spent time caring for him as his mental and physical health deteriorated. Shortly after traveling to the capital city by ambulance, Yusef’s father passed away. Yusef wanted to return to his village to bury his father, but others from his village stated that they would refuse to bury him because of Yusef’s faith. Yusef and a few Christian friends held a quiet funeral for him in the capital city. Ask the Lord to comfort Yusef during this difficult time. Pray that he will remain persistent in sharing his faith with his family and others from his home village despite the intense persecution.
- Pray for R’s family as they grieve the passing of Papa Great and celebrate his incredible life. Praise God for Papa Great’s incredible testimony and legacy of faith.
- Praise God that “Eddie,” his wife, and his daughter have all decided to follow Jesus and be baptized. The family has begun meeting together weekly to study the Bible with Aichatou and Ichakou. Eddie’s grandson has been attending the group and is interested in following Christ as well. Other friends of the family have stopped by to listen to the stories from the Bible. Pray that the Lord would multiply Eddie’s faith. Pray that God would use this family to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to more people.
- Praise God that “Barnabus” and his six children have all decided to follow Christ and be baptized. Barnabus is a Chief of Tribute and a man of tremendous influence among the Fulani people. While attending a conference for Fulani Christians, a church planter warned Barnabus that he would likely face extreme persecution for his decision to follow Christ, but Barnabus responded that he understood the consequences of his decision and he would continue to follow Christ no matter the cost. Praise God that Barnabus and his family are passionate followers of Christ. Pray that they will be extremely influential among the Fulani people.
