“For behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.”

(Song of Solomon 2:11-12)

Creator God, we thank You for this first day of spring. In Kentucky, winter and the cold precipitation are subsiding. Flowers are starting to peep through the ground, songbirds are returning.

Father, as the birth of spring reminds us of Your promises and hope we have in Christ, we thank You for the participants attending the Kairos course at Emerald Hills this week.

We pray that You would regenerate and mobilize Kairos participants for carrying seeds of the Gospel to unreached peoples in their neighborhoods.

Father, may their testimony of Jesus be a new song to their spiritual winter’s end, bringing new life to those who have never heard the Gospel before.
