Father God, we implore You to remove the veil that prevents Dearborn’s Muslims from receiving and understanding the Truth, the veil that can only be removed by believing in Christ. Free them, Father, so they can see and reflect the glory of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:14, 18).
*Pat and *Guy are Lao National Missionaries who have successfully planted a church among the Bit people. One of the first people to believe was B-lee, a 15-year-old boy with a learning disability. B-lee was always told by others that he was stupid and useless because of sin and curses. When he heard the Gospel, he learned that Jesus removes our sin and cancels curses. Now, instead of being a village outcast looked down upon by everyone, B-lee has accepted a new identity in Christ – he is God’s child, loved by His Heavenly Father, and equipped to be His servant. B-lee has been the most passionate leader in the budding Bit church. Praise God for our new brother in Christ B-lee. Pray that he continues to learn and grow and share and disciple others. Focus prayer on the Serbs in Bosnia. Most church growth experts agree that a healthy church should demonstrate the following 5 purposes: worship, evangelistic and missionary outreach, education and discipleship, and ministry and fellowship. Many church planters believer that when these 5 health indicators are strong, the church naturally grows. Praise God that Tuzla is not a city without access to the Gospel. There is a growing church in Tuzla with genuine Christ-followers who are developing in these crucial areas! Praise God!
