This past week, Team Expansion lost a fantastic 29-year Leadership Task Force (LTF) member. (In Team Expansion, we refer to our board of directors as the LTF.) Dr. Wayne Shaw passed away on Wednesday, July 14th. I (Doug Lucas) still remember his first LTF meeting in 1992. We had several major issues to sort out at that meeting. Wayne was “all in” from the start. In spite of his busy schedule — whether preaching, teaching, traveling, serving as the President of a major convention — he always made it a priority to be there. Team Expansion is a better org today because of Dr. Wayne Shaw.

It’s especially poignant because he did (finish well). One of Wayne’s other huge accomplishments was to help create an amazing worker in Asia who has served the org and the Kingdom since 1989! Thank you Wayne Shaw! (Doug and Eric Derry will travel to Lincoln on Thursday to be with the family at the Visitation.)
