Emre is no longer shaken up. He’s spreading the Gospel.
We received the Bibles, and he has been all over the place. The furthest out has gone has been about a 4.5 hour drive.
Emre knows a lot of people, and there are many who are asking for Bibles.

He has delivered close to 200 out of the 500 so far.
The persecution continues, but the brothers remain faithful and are trusting in the Lord.
I just learned they have been living with Emre’s in-laws since the beginning of the summer because they are no longer making enough money to pay rent on a place of their own.
Multiplying
A week ago, they temporarily closed their store and went to the beach. While at the sea, Emre baptized his wife, and a young man that he had been studying with.
His wife’s family was there, so Emre and Hakan explained everything to them. However, right now no one else in the family is ready or wanting to make any kind of commitment to Jesus.
Her parents don’t have any objections to their decisions – except from the parents’ perspective, following Jesus isn’t worth it because you can’t make enough money to live on your own.
Pray for Emre and Hakan, as their story of obedience continues.
