From a Team Expansion worker in N. Africa:

I had the joy of reconnecting with M* and his family, who live in a city outside the capital. Some time ago, I had the opportunity to meet them and give them a New Testament because they had a deep desire to understand the meaning of the cross.

The first time I spoke with M, he shared a dream that had profoundly impacted his life. In the dream, he was praying with several people and believed he was in a mosque; however, in the midst of that place, a cross began to rise. Later, he had another dream in which an image coming from his cell phone transformed into a cross. These dreams awakened in him a strong desire to learn more about Jesus and the significance of the cross.

M shared these experiences with his wife and son, who also became interested in learning more. During our conversations, I was able to share several passages from the New Testament about the sacrifice and love of Jesus. They received the message of the Gospel with great openness and decided to begin reading and studying God’s Word together as a family.

Continued Growth and Obedience

It was a blessing to learn that they have continued conducting Discovery Bible Studies in the New Testament. They have also begun sharing about Jesus with friends and relatives, and several people have expressed interest in learning more about the Gospel.

M, together with a friend who has also come to faith in Jesus, operates a small copy center. They have been using this resource to reproduce portions of the New Testament and to help establish multiple Discovery Bible Study groups.

Through these relationships, the message of Jesus has continued to spread naturally and multiply. To the glory of God, M and his family now have a network of approximately 100 people who are reading the New Testament and exploring the teachings of Jesus.

We thank the Lord for M and his family, and we ask for your prayers that God would give us wisdom and direction as we continue to mentor and support them, as well as the other disciples who are being developed through this growing network.
