From the Buktas, serving in Ecuador

The Peace Treaty (also known as “It’s All About Relationship“) is one of the tools we use to evangelize. It is very effective in sharing the Gospel. We have trained several people in our church to use the Peace Treaty. We would like to share with you stories of people who have given their lives to Christ.

Meet Dolores

Dolores is very friendly and she started inviting her neighbors to her small group. This group is observing the needs of others and are helping their neighbors.

Dolores has 9 adult children. She lives with her granddaughter, and her son and his girlfriend and their daughter. We met this family while we were doing Adopt a Block.

Since Dolores has problems with her knees, at this time she was out of work. But thanks to God we started doing the Peace Treaty with her.

During this time she started working, and she was so grateful and thanked God because she was able to help feed her family.

She made the decision to get baptized and started to encourage Monica (her son’s girlfriend) to do the Peace Treaty. She accepted and was baptized in November.

New Lives in Christ

They both started getting involved with activities that we were doing to reach more people and they now have a small group that meets in their house.

Dolores is trying to be a testimony for her son, Adolfo, who is into drugs and is very abusive with Monica. Please pray for her to continue to grow in the love and knowledge of Christ.
