Sharing the Gospel with an illiterate culture or where there’s no Bible in the local language can prove challenging.
Thankfully, some of our workers have created an incredible tool to help share the Gospel with anyone at anytime!
Designed for Success
The 24 Picture Gospel tool was designed to help train people with animistic worldviews in how to share the gospel in a way that is simple, reproducible and answers the natural questions or misunderstandings they might have about God.
The idea was to use pictures as cues both to help the speaker remember the important parts of the gospel story and for the listener to be more interested in what the speaker is saying (rather than just listening to him tell a story).
It was designed to be completely black and white (no grays) so it could be photocopied and reproduced easily. It was also designed to fit on one sheet of paper, front and back, so it would be easy to use, easy to carry and easy to reproduce at any photocopy shop, which exist in most areas.
Designed to work for anyone, this graphic is easy, simple, and reproducible!
Proven Effective
This tool has proven to be very effective in a couple of ways. First, by practicing and memorizing the text under each picture, national Christians actually come to a much better understanding of the gospel.
It helps them to understand the theological underpinnings of our salvation and God’s mission, and helps to them to gain a more biblical worldview. So, in this way, the tool has been useful for discipleship.
Second, this tool has been used to lead countless people to Christ! We have distributed it with a simple chronological Bible story set and have trained hundreds of people in how to use it who have then taken it to many different provinces and villages to share the message of Christ with their unreached friends and relatives.
