Ever wonder what life is like for missionaries? While every missionary’s experience is different, today we’re giving you a glimpse into the day in the life of a missionary in Asia. He recently took a trip to a remote Asian village and got a glimpse of what life is like there!
This is a little market set up for the lunar New Year celebration high into the mountains.
These little girls were walking up and down mountain roads some even in high hills towards a New Year festival. They seemed to think it was normal even though the festival was like 10km away!
Stopping in a random village can draw a crowd. This crowd left with access to the Gospel, perhaps for the first time. Pray for God’s hand to be at work here.
Cooking over an open fire is still an every day thing in most homes among this people group. The work of everyday life is hard, but they don’t know any other life – yet.
I was trying out some of my new language skills in the UPG language and giving them bandanas that share about Him. Pray for fruit to bear.
Making things the hard way by hand in not necessarily a high sought out commodity here, it is just the way of life.
It isn’t common to see the young men wearing the traditional outfits, and they were happy to stop for a picture with the foreigner.
These adorable girls around the age of 7 are already carrying babies around for hours as they try to sell stuff. Life is very different for them than little 7 year old girls back home.
This lady was making new cloth one strand at a time by hand. She was given a bandana and told about a radio program to listen to stories about God. Pray that she does.
This is a typical house among the people group here. The heart shape window made me cry out for God’s love to enter.
These little girls were full of energy and loved having me take pictures of them and then seeing the pictures afterwards.
